Allied Van

Build your very own Allied Moving Van and turn any afternoon into a new adventure. This project is perfect for group fun—there’s room for all your new neighbors and friends to climb aboard. Want to add more detail? Try crafting a dashboard with gauges, a speedometer, and a steering wheel made from a sturdy piece of leftover cardboard.

Instructions

Cartons Needed: 3 wardrobe cartons
Step 1:
Take one wardrobe carton and carefully measure out the cab area. Cut or score the door sections, but be sure to leave two or three spots uncut along one edge—these will act as hinges for opening and closing.
Step 2:
Use tape to secure the cab’s roof to the body. Then take your remaining two wardrobe cartons and assemble them into a trailer. Once built, tape all three pieces together to form one long moving van.
Step 3:
Create large rear doors for the trailer using extra cardboard. Cut to size and attach them to the back using strong tape. These flaps can swing open for easy loading and unloading—just like a real Allied truck.
Now you’re ready to hit the road—next stop, imagination!
